Depth soundings
Depth sounding is a method of bottom contour footage, it consists of bathymetry in tacks, spaced with each other on certain distances, set depending on the bottom contour and depth character. Similar to the way in topography plotting the determined heights are used with a large amount of dots on a location, in hydrography the depth sounding is used for inspection of underwater contour.
Our specialist can do a depth sounding with special equipment-echo sounder. The results are presented as the depth marks and the heights of the bottom level.
Application range:
- design and explorational works;
- providing of dredging works (preliminary estimation of dredging works, control of depth sounding, determination of actually executed volume);
- annual inspection, certification.
